A brow lift procedure may be combined with other surgical procedures, including blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), face and neck lifts, laser skin resurfacing to tighten saggy or crepey skin, and fat grafting to address facial hollowing. Recommendations for additional procedures are dependent on the areas being rejuvenated - the upper face or the entire face and neck. After surgery, some swelling and tightness is expected. This can feel like a headache for a few days, which will be treated with either over-the-counter or prescription medications. After 48 hours, the hair can be gently washed. Depending on the technique used, stitches or other materials used to close the incisions are removed 1-2 weeks after surgery.
